Stella Artois is a Belgian pilsner beer, first brewed by Artois Brewery in Leuven, Belgium in 1926. In 1987, Artois merged with Piedboeuf Brewery to form Interbrew. Later on, Interbrew merged with AmBev to form InBev in 2004. InBev then merged with Anheuser-Busch in 2008 to create Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world’s largest brewing company. Today, Stella Artois is owned and produced by Anheuser-Busch InBev.
