Pepsi is a popular carbonated soft drink that was first introduced in 1898 by Caleb Bradham, a pharmacist from North Carolina, United States. Originally called “Brad’s Drink,” it was renamed “Pepsi-Cola” in 1898 and became one of the main competitors of Coca-Cola in the United States.
The brand has also expanded its product line to include various flavors, such as Diet Pepsi, Pepsi Max, and Pepsi Wild Cherry, as well as other non-carbonated beverages, such as Gatorade and Tropicana juices.
In addition to Pepsi, PepsiCo also owns other well-known brands, such as Frito-Lay, Quaker Oats, and Gatorade.
